Tasting Notes 

Nose : Rich, spicy nose with subtle smoke. Notes of raisins and toffee. Caramel. Cinnamon and clove. Earthy smoke. Water brings out some honey and orange peel.

Taste : Big arrival! Lots of oak and dried fruits. Dark chocolate. Coffee. Water brings out some malty notes and some fruity apple comes through.

About Abrachan 

Abrachan's history is primarily tied to a blended Scotch whisky, named after a mythical Scottish beast. The name was used for a Lidl blended malt whisky line starting around 2013, with different versions and cask finishes appearing over the years, such as the "Triple Oak Matured" and "Peated & Smoky" expressions, all bottled by companies like the Clydesdale Scotch Whisky Co. The beast in the folklore was said to have roamed the Scottish Highlands, scorching the land, which became the inspiration for the whisky's name. There is also a record of an Abrachan family name appearing in Scottish census records, particularly in Aberdeenshire in the 19th century.
