Enjoyed across China for over 4,000 years, one thing’s for sure; Baijiu isn’t your typical tipple. A classic super-premium spirit, the Moutai Prince expression is made by prestigious producer Kweichow Moutai in the Guizhou Province. Distilled from Sorghum (a gluten-free cereal grain) with a malting technique similar to whiskey, it’s aged in earthenware pots to build an understated yet complex flavour. A fresher, lighter version of classic Moutai, this style is defined by sweet notes of apple and pear.

Moutai Prince is the first Maotai-flavor series wine product launched by Kweichow Moutai Liquor Co., Ltd. Completely adhering to the traditional brewing process of Maotai-flavor liquor, it uses high-quality glutinous sorghum, wheat and water as raw materials, and is carefully brewed using the traditional Daqu Maotai-flavor liquor technology. The raw materials are locally produced organic sorghum and wheat. Moutai Prince Liquor usually takes at least three years from input to production to product delivery (one year for base liquor production, more than one year for classified storage, and several months of blending for finished product before leaving the factory).

It shares the same origin with Moutai and is the direct descendant of Kweichow Moutai. It is the liquor closest to Moutai in quality and taste among all Maotai-flavor liquors. Golden Prince Liquor is one of the Moutai Prince Liquor series with a better reputation. It has a prominent sauce flavor, a thick texture, and a slightly bitter aftertaste. It is a typical Maotai style.

The packaging of Moutai Prince Chiew - Gold is also visually striking, with a gold color scheme and intricate designs that represent traditional Chinese culture and art. The bottle is often seen as a symbol of luxury and prestige.
