Nikka`s northernmost distillery, Yoichi is well-known for producing full-bodied, peaty whiskies. This impeccably balanced 10-year-old is the epitome of the distillery`s signature style.

About Yoichi 

The Yoichi distillery, founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, is Nikka's first distillery, located in the Hokkaido region of Japan to replicate Scotland's climate and natural conditions. Yoichi whiskies are known for their bold, full-bodied, peaty, and maritime character, influenced by the local sea breeze and coal-fired direct distillation. Visitors can tour the historic stone buildings, see the traditional equipment, and learn about the history of Japanese whisky at the distillery's museum and tasting room.
