Jim Beam 100 Month Old Fire Chief Car Decanter Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (1980s) 75cl
An extremely rare decanter from the 80s from our friends Jim Beam with Suntory being their partner and inspiration
Nobody does a decanter better than Suntory as we have seen the Daimaru, Marlin and American decanters for Jim Beam.
This bourbon was distilled in the 1970s and bottled in the 1980s. A hell of a piece for the shelves or to drink. We have tried these and they still have the same essence as they did back then. The rancio taste here is in full effect!
This Jim Beam decanter contains an 8 year old bourbon, distilled at their distillery in Clermont, Kentucky. It was bottled in in the 1980s to commemorate the fire department and their acts of bravery through large fires that occurred during the period.
The decanter is crafted from high-quality porcelain and hand-painted to replicate every detail of the original fire truck. This not only makes the Fire Chief's Car Decanter a collector's item but also a functional and elegant container for this special whiskey. This limited-edition whiskey decanter makes for a wonderful gift for any whiskey enthusiast or collector of firefighting or automotive memorabilia. It is sure to occupy a place of honor in any collection.
The Beam family (anglicised from the German surname Böhm in the 18th century) are the greatest dynasty in all of American distilling, with members involved in nearly every Kentucky distillery during the 20th century. Perhaps none more important however than James "Jim" Beauregard Beam, who rebuilt his family business following the repeal of Prohibition, re-opening the famous Clermont distillery in 1935. The company is now the best-selling bourbon brand in the world (due to Jack Daniel's refusing to be categorised as such). They operate two Kentucky distilleries, the eponymous Jim Beam in Clermont & the Booker Noe distillery in nearby Boston, and since their purchase of National Distillers in 1987 also have a wealth of historic brands under their banner. Since 2014 the company has been a subsidiary of Suntory in Japan, which has widened its portfolio into the Scotch and Japanese whisky industries as well.
