Glen Elgin 11 Year Old Cooper's Choice (2010-2021) 70cl
From indie bottling range The Cooper's Choice comes an 11 year old Glen Elgin single malt, distilled back in February 2010 and initially aged in American oak. Before bottling in 2021, it spent a finishing period in a Sauternes wine cask imparting an additional fruity sweetness to this fantastic Speysider. 312 bottles were released in total.
Tasting Notes
Nose Honeyed corn flakes, buttered oatcakes, and sweet boozy fruit sprinkled with vanilla.
Palate Chocolate digestive biscuits, waxed citrus peels, and trail mix. Fruity, tangy barley, and developing peppery notes.
Finish Toasted brown seeded bread with honey. Peppery fennel, stone fruits and warming spice.
