SOLDADERA EDITION

The Casa 1910 Soldadera Edition was created to honor three brave women who fought fiercely to liberate their country during the Mexican Revolution. The Soldadera Edition comes in three distinct blends: the Sampetrina, La Coronela, and Teniente Angela. Each blend is dedicated to one of the women. All three blends are expertly handmade in the Dominican Republic at the Tabacalera La iSLA factory, which is owned by Hostos Fernández Quesada. The Soldadera Edition is the first line of the Casa 1910 brand to be crafted in the Dominican Republic.


TENIENTE ANGELA

Angela Jimenez, known as "Teniente Angela" (Lieutenant Angela) was a soldier, spy, explosives expert, flag bearer and sometimes a cook. Originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, she fought in the Revolution with Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata's guerrillas in the North and Center of the country.
