Undercrown is a statement. It is the reward for hard work, dedication to craft and teamwork. You know the story, originally created by our torcedores who had to cut back on their in-take of Liga’s, they banded together and created a cigar for their own daily consumption.

Since our humble beginnings in 1998, we have demonstrated to the world that no premium cigar company better understands its people, the regular common folk, who are the true living fabric of the production floor and factory setting. Drew Estate Master Blender Willy Herrera has gone back to the team and asked them to do it again. This time they discussed the crafting of a unique medium bodied line extension that is creamy, lush & ultrasmooth. Which only a Shade wrapper could deliver. While others would easily sell you a simple, inauthentic wrapper swap, our Torcedores would have none of that.

Back to basics, from the ground up is their way and they dug deep to ultimately create a majestic blend of select vintage Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos, finished off with a flawless Shade wrapper that delivers satisfaction in spades. And so it is with great bravado that we share Undercrown Shade and the continuing story from our factory floor.
