This intriguing whiskey, released exclusively for travel retail, is a marriage of 15YO Ex Bourbon 1st fill and 15 year old Ex Bourbon 2nd fill American oak casks. The 1st fill casks offer the distinct aromas and flavours associated with the bourbon that has rested previously in the cask mingled with the smooth fruity character that is Bushmills. The 2nd fill offers more of the distinct Bushmills character and the natural flavours from the American oak mingled with the devils cut of Bushmills and Bourbon from its previous use.

About Bushmiils

Bushmills Irish Whiskey, one of the world’s oldest distilleries, traces its roots back to 1608, when Sir Thomas Phillips was granted a license to distill in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The Bushmills Old Distillery, established in 1784, has continuously produced whiskey, earning a reputation for quality and craftsmanship.

The distillery’s signature style, characterized by a triple distillation process, results in a smooth, light whiskey, a distinct feature of Irish whiskey. Despite facing numerous challenges, including Prohibition in the United States and periods of economic hardship, the brand has remained resilient. In 2005, Diageo acquired the distillery, further bolstering its global presence.

Today, the Bushmills Irish Whiskey range includes whiskeys such as Bushmills Black Bush, a 10 Year Old, and a 16 Year Old. The brand also produces limited edition cask finish expressions as well as high-age single malts.
