An amazing value older grain whisky from Cambus. Very ice cream and velvety with nice strength & character

This superb Sovereign Single Grain bottling is presented by notable independent bottlers Hunter Laing & Co. of Glasgow. Bottled from a single cask, this expression was distilled at Cambus Distillery in Alloa and underwent a 39 year slumber in a sherry Hogshead cask. Free from chill-filtration and at natural colour, the expression was bottled at a cask strength of 52.7% abv.

Expect a nose full of apples, blackcurrants and toffee, leading to a palate with flavours of forest fruits, green foliage and salted caramel. The finish is long, with lingering fruit and pepper.
