A single cask expression exclusive to the UK market but no longer since we deliver worldwide.
An 11 year old single malt from the GlenAllachie Distillery, released as part of the Single Cask series. This particular expression was drawn from a Sauternes barrel, which has helped to introduced a wealth of bright, sweet, fruity notes to the whisky. Just 299 bottles were produced.
Tasting Notes
Nose Plum, peach and pear, with a hint of floral barley underneath.
Palate Honey, more peach, crystallised ginger, orange boiled sweeties and a balancing touch of savoury oak.
Finish Sugared almonds, barley and mint.
