Armed with the knowledge that their complex and robust GlenAllachie spirit stands up well to aging in rich Sherry casks, Billy specially selected this PX Hogshead (2006 #6607). This Spanish oak cask has bestowed decadent notes of molten chocolate pudding, sticky raisins and sweet spices alongside a deliciously deep mahogany hue. The resulting liquid delivers a malt abundant with Sherry- matured sophistication.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Rich Chestnut.

Nose: Bursting with almonds, treacle and brittle toffee, with notes of raisins, dark fruits, chocolate and baking spices.

Taste: Lashings of dark chocolate, toffee sauce and demerara sugar, followed by mocha, honey and treacle, with cinnamon and coconut shavings on the finish.
