Glencadam 15 Year Old 2007 Reserva de Jerez Whisky 70cl
The delightful and delicate Glencadam single malt Scotch whisky is given the sherry treatment here. This vintage 2007 whisky was matured initially in bourbon casks and then finished in oloroso sherry butts that were housed in the traditional dunnage warehouses.
Glencadam Reserva de Jerez has been specially created by their Master Distiller. From Glencadam’s historic dunnage warehouses, he has carefully selected single malt distilled in 2007 and matured initially in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak casks.
The single malt in these casks has been expertly married then finished in the finest Oloroso Sherry butts sourced from Jerez, Spain. These Oloroso Sherry butts impart unique flavours, which give depth and complexity to our Glencadam Single Malt.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Rich and pronounced with aromas of praline, roasted nuts, golden syrup and candied peels.
Palate: Sweet layers of maple pecan Danish, sultanas, milk chocolate and heather honey bound with nutmeg and oak spices.
Finish: Warming notes of apple strudel and custard tarts fading into a linger of sweet spices and espresso coffee.
