Glencadam's multi-award winning, Glencadam Reserva Andalucía pays homage to the relationship between Glencadam Distillery & the famous sherry region of Andalucía, Spain.
Handcrafted using carefully selected sherry butts from Glencadam Distillery’s dunnage warehouses and marrying together with bourbon casks, this fine single malt is then finished in Oloroso Sherry butts from Andalucía.
The result is a rich and sherry-forward expression, where the famous fruitiness of the Glencadam spirit is balanced with sultana and sweet-spice notes, that come from the Oloroso Sherry cask maturation.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose Baklava, honeyed orchard fruit and vanilla pod, with melted brown sugar and cinnamon.
Palate Some creamy influence alongside stewed apple, treacle toffee and plump raisin.
Finish More brown sugar returns, with green oak and maple syrup in support.
