The Glenfiddich Perpetual Collection explores a method of perpetual maturation. Similar to a solera system, the vats of whisky are only half emptied for bottling, while the remaining aging malt is topped up with younger spirit, creating a continuous flow between the original liquid and those that follow. This single malt matured in a combo of bourbon and red wine casks, resulting in a rewardingly silky, elegant sipper.

VAT 01 is an exceptionally elegant single malt, suited to every palate. Ever in motion thanks to continuous blending in our Solera VAT 1, this expression uniquely layers sweet and spicy notes for a soft and mellow taste with added depth due to its maturation in bourbon & red wine casks. A balanced and refreshingly smooth Glenfiddich.
Taste: COLOUR Autumn Barley. NOSE Beautifully fragrant and floral. Summer blossom notes with hints of creamy vanilla toffee and subtle oakiness. A touch of zesty citrus in the background. TASTE Very soft and mellow with a lovely balance of oak and the trademark Glenfiddich character. Layers of sweetness and spice and with hints of freshly ground black pepper.
