Great strength for 14 Year old and 61%!

Glentauchers traditionally has been used in blends due to it's strong characteristics as a great Speyside, Dark charred caramel taste & everybody needed a piece of what Glentauchers made which kept them happy for a long time.

Recently, since the 90s, more single cask and cask strength releases from Glentauchers have been spotted in the wild. This is a fantastic example of one that should be opened and consumed due to price and strength and quality. Amazing stuff!

Tasting Notes

Nose Malted biscuits, trickles of toffee, chocolate almonds, honeyed peach.

Palate Soft layers of sultana studded pastry, drizzles of caramel, with cooked apples and candied pecans in tow.

Finish Spiced honey and a touch of cocoa, with oily malt and charred oak.
