Glenallachie is enjoying a much-deserved upswing in popularity, and full strength sherried versions like this will always be in demand, so you'll need to be quick on this one. Their single cask grey box range is selling out quite quickly and simply put, damn good whisky that has been led by a great distiller who now gets more and more right as time passes. Off the cuff age statements, single casking with some deep brown natural colouring. We are all a huge fan here! Imparting aromas of redcurrants, dried cherry and cinnamon on the nose, leading to rich dried fruit, punctuated by baking spice and citrus oils.
