Bowmore 23 Year Old Frank Quitely No Corners To Hide (2021) Travel Retail Exclusive 70cl

One of two whiskies released by Bowmore for the initial launch of its No Corners to Hide series, this expression is a 23 year old single malt Scotch whisky which has enjoyed a finishing period in Essencia barriques before being bottled at 51.5% ABV. The name was inspired by the round church in the Islay town of Bowmore, which was designed so that there would be no corners for the Devil to hide in. This bottling was created in a collaboration with graphic artist Frank Quietly, with a rather striking design on the label and presentation box.

Beginning its first 21 years in cask, the spirit was nurtured in American oak hogsheads, to create the signature style of Bowmore. Much like the devil, this spirit took its own unusual journey, maturing in more than just one cask type. Two years of further maturation followed in Essencia® barriques, a peculiarly rare ‘Rose Oak’ dating back to the 1830s.
