It is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot grapes, aged for 18 months in oak barrels. The nose is filled with aromas of ripe blackberry, cassis, and dark cherry, with hints of tobacco, cedar, and spice. On the palate, the wine is smooth and velvety, with a balanced acidity and a long, lingering finish. The tannins are well-integrated, and the flavors of dark fruit, cocoa, and earthy notes are all present.
