This is a blend we are very fond of - You can find samples available of this in our Samples section on the website,
Cut Your Wolf Loose's 8th release and their first blend! What a cracker it is too! The talented Cashman has blessed the label with his artwork and oh boy does it look good. The Blend has been made up of two epic Speyside distilleries, one of which is made in 'the middle farm' and the other makes whisky as pleasant as it is to look upon a glassy glen. Also, one highland distillery right at the tippy top and peaty powerhouse from Islay all of which was very expertly whacked into a Oloroso sherry butt (hmmmm i wonder what they could be). Only 333 bottles in this release!
Tasting Notes
Nose : A pineapple speed boat up the nostrils, salt water, lemon to the face, smokey exhaust and chocolatey snack for the journey
Palate : Some Willy Wonka stuff going on with a combo of candied ginger and a Cadbury's Crunchy bar up front. Towards the end Willy Wonka spontaneously combusts into a ball of flames while conveniently holding a jar of brown sugar cubes and liquorice.
Finish : A medium-to-long finish with sweet, smokey, oaky finish notes - like a hanging around at a party for just long enough then pulling an Irish Goodbye.
