A Japanese import of the popular blend, Grand Old Parr. Rarely ever seen in the UK since the 90s and more often in USA and Asia.

It is a blended whisky, the brand's entry-level whisky. It is aged in ex-Bourbon refill barrels and a small portion in ex-Sherry refill barrels. It has at its heart the malts of the Cragganmore and Glendullan distilleries; with the addition of many other malts and grain whiskies.

Legend has it that during a harsh Scottish winter, some barrels of whisky were left outside the warehouses of a famous Scottish distillery in the cold and snow by mistake. When they were later found, it turned out that the super-cold liquid was much smoother!

Legend or marketing aside, the idea behind this whiskey is that it was made to be enjoyed chilled!
