Here we have a 13 Year Old Highland Park, the second edition of Saltire bottlings made in partnership with Scottish Formula 1 legend David Coulthard. The packaging is inspired by the Scottish flag and even bears Coulthard's signature. It just so happens that Coulthard boasts 13 Formula One Grand Prix wins, which is pretty cool considering this whisky has been aged for 13 years!

F1 legend David Coulthard collaborated with us to create a whisky that would enable him to give something back to Dumfries and Galloway – the region and the people who supported him from his earliest days behind the wheel. As a token of his appreciation, a percentage of the proceeds from Saltire Edition 2 goes to local charities and communities in the place where David grew up.

The packaging design is inspired by Scotland’s national flag – displayed proudly by David on his F1 crash helmets and cars, throughout his career.

Released in 2019, this 13 Year Old special release has been shaped using almost equal quantities of first-fill sherry seasoned European oak, American oak and refill casks plus a small number of ex-bourbon casks. This influence of this cask combination is a single malt displaying lavish notes of caramelised mango and sun-kissed lemons, root ginger and silky vanilla, and of course, our characteristic peat smoke.
