** ONE OF THE OLDEST KARUIZAWA PRODUCTS THAT YOU CAN BUY **

The early bottlings from Karuizawa were mostly blends featuring grain whiskies from either Yamanashi or Kawasaki, released under the Sanraku-Ocean brand. This however is a straight blend of malt from the famed Japanese distillery (what we would now refer to as a single malt).

So technically this is a blended single malt from the same distillery of Karuizawa that is much older without it coming from ONE single cask. This bottle is technically TOO honest.

Karuizawa produced outstanding whiskies, many of which have received international acclaim. They have released almost 300 single casks which are becoming increasingly rarer and rarer as demand soars.

It is so old that it is 74 PROOF with ABV unknown

A true relic of the past from one of the most sought after closed distilleries of our time.
