The Tenjaku Pure Malt Sherry Cask is an exquisite Japanese whisky that is given a complex and rich character by its special maturation in sherry casks. With an alcohol content of 43% vol. and a bottle capacity of 0.7 liters, this whisky is a fascinating expression of the Japanese whisky tradition and the art of cask maturation. The Tenjaku Pure Malt is matured in carefully selected sherry casks, which give it its characteristic fruity and spicy notes.
The casks come from Spain and ensure the deep, rich aroma structure of the whisky. Tenjaku whisky is produced using traditional Japanese methods, with great emphasis on purity and quality. The special dedication to production is reflected in every sip. As a pure malt whisky, it is made exclusively from malted barley, which gives it a full and rich character.
The aromas on the nose are rich and fruity, characterized by dried fruits such as raisins, prunes and figs, complemented by a subtle sweetness of honey and vanilla. Notes of dark chocolate and a hint of nut complete the bouquet. On the palate, the whisky is velvety and full-bodied, with clear sherry notes that emphasize dried fruit, chocolate and a light spiciness. Vanilla, toffee and a hint of spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg give the whisky additional depth and complexity. The finish is long-lasting, sweet and slightly dry, with oak notes and a hint of roasted nuts that fade away harmoniously.
