Togouchi whisky is a Japanese blend which incorporated malt from Scotland and grain from Canada. It’s therefore something of an international collaboration! Every whisky that goes into the blend is aged for at least eight years.

About Togouchi
Togouchi is a brand of whisky from Sakurao Distillery in Hiroshima, Japan, which matured in an abandoned railway tunnel that creates a unique microclimate for aging. While the original Togouchi whisky was a blend of imported Scotch malt and Canadian grain whiskies that were blended and naturalized in Japan, recent production from Sakurao's own distillery in Hiroshima has also produced 100% Japanese-origin single malt and grain whiskies, all matured in the unique tunnel environment.
