Fruit-forward in character, with just the right amount of earthy mint and cocoa nib mix. This Kentucky whiskey is based in history, and created by renowned Master Distiller, Chris Morris. Woodford Reserve's Wheat Whiskey has a mash bill of 52% wheat, 20% malt, 20% corn, and 8% rye. History balanced with our pioneering spirit gives this whiskey a delicate, fruit-forward character.Woodford Reserve Wheat Whiskey is based on historical recipes, but influenced by the iconic core Woodford Reserve Bourbon brand. That said, wheat is the prominent grain and is much more noticeable in this whiskey than in Woodford Reserve's other styles. This is wheat whiskey done right. Aroma: Cooked fruit and aromatic spices mingle with a delicate floral character Color: Dark Honey Taste: Spicy applesauce and toasted coconut notes enliven an earthy mint and cocoa nibs mix Finish: Dry, subtle cocoa nibs and apple peel fruit linger on.

TASTING NOTES


Nose : Sweet spices (cinnamon, cedar) and cooked fruits (apple, pear, banana) blend delicately with floral notes softened by light vanilla and brown sugar.

Palate : Spicy apple compote and toasted coconut, menthol touches and a hint of cocoa.

Finish : Long, dry, with subtle notes of cocoa beans and apple.
