Ochoa Gran Reserva is a red wine from an exhaustive selection of grapes from our vineyard: Tempranillo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, and each grape contributes its virtues to this blend.

This wine is also the result of patient aging in barrel and bottle. The Tempranillo grape ages in new 225L American oak barrels; while the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are aged in new 225L French oak barrels for 24 months. Later we mix the wine and bottle it. We keep that bottle for more than 7 years until it is ready to drink.

It is a wine that we only make in the best vintages , those that we know will achieve the power and elegance representative of the Ochoa Gran Reserva.

As the wine indicates, it is large , and for that reason, we bottle this wine in large formats for large celebrations : Magnum (150cl) 2010 vintage , Double Magnum 300cl . 2009 harvest . Both in a wooden box .

With some vintages we bottle in even larger formats. Call us if you are interested in a larger format and we will tell you if we have availability.
