Edradour 10 Year Old 2013 Single Sherry Cask #155 New Vibrations Highland Single Malt Whisky EU Exclusive (2023) 70cl
Hands down the nicest Edradour whisky we have ever tasted. It beats the CS and their others. THIS is what Edradour is all about. Dark sherryness and amazing complex taste.
One of the hardest versions to find also whilst we are on the subject. Took us enough time. Only 681 bottles made last year but it feels like they only 81 bottles of this due to how hard it is to even track down. We had to climb mountains in Thibet, go to a psychic, go to library archives & be hunted by the Mujahadeen just to be able to get one of these and now we are sharing it with all of you fine people.
About Edradour
Established in 1825, the Glenforres distillery was renamed Edradour in 1837. Acquired by Campbell Distilleries (Pernod Ricard) in 1982, it became the property of Andrew Simington, the founder of the famous Scottish trading house Signatory Vintage in 2002. It was completely renovated in 2018, and a second adjacent distillery was established in the same year. From the very beginning, this version vividly captures the Edradour style. With a refined classicism, its aromatic and gustatory palette traverses malted, exuberant, and autumnal territories, taking us on a journey from Pitlochry to Jerez de la Frontera.
