This is Armagnac Sponge Edition No.3 and it is a single cask of 1977 vintage Armagnac bottled at 45 years of age and natural cask strength.

1977 is an excellent but super rare vintage, thanks to an unusually low harvest that year. All of which makes this wee bottling a total gem and a bit of a no-brainer for us when it came to selecting our latest Armagnac Sponge.

A perfect natural strength and bags of concentrated dark fruits, honey and intricate wood spices. Luscious, decadent and something undeniably very special!
