Glenlivet 13 Years Old Sherry Cask Matured Taiwan Exclusive is a limited-edition Glenlivet single malt, released in 2020 exclusively for the Taiwanese market. The whisky matured for 13 years in Oloroso sherry casks. In 1817, George Smith inherited the farm distillery Upper Drummin in the remote Glenlivet Valley. His father, Andrew Smith, has been distilling on the site since 1774. In 1823, George Smith was the first person to apply for a distilling license after the Excise Act had been passed, making Glenlivet the oldest legal distillery in Scotland. This curiously dark 40% expression makes for a pleasantly light and fruity dram with particularly noticeable cherry flavours
