Glentauchers was founded in 1897 by James Buchanan to provide malt whisky for his successful Black & White Blend. These days it is used by Pernod Ricard to train new members of staff in the basics of whisky production. As such, the distillery is as hands-on and mechanical as possible.
Bottled for the Good Spirits Company, by Creative Whisky.
Glentauchers was prominently used for blending but now the single malt market has taken this delicious whisky and started to more than not single cask it. What a great change!
