Named for the mythical creature from Scottish folklore, the Selkie brand by the House of MacDuff is a series of unique blended malts. Batch 001 contains a blend of Highland and Islay malts, including Bunnahabhain, Glenburgie, Teaninich, Tullibardine and Glengoyne. Woa, impressive list! This Scottish whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks mainly. The captivating bottle design shows a Selkie: a mermaid-like creature that can shapeshift from a seal into a human. In her human form she is so beautiful that no mortal can resist her – kind of like this delicious whisky. Selkie Batch 001 was bottled in 2016 at 50% ABV.
