The bottle celebrates the work of Frank Thomas Bobo, Master Distiller between 1966 and 1988.
The Tennessee distillery released the Jack Daniel's Master Distiller Series No.5 in memory of Frank Bobo. He took over the position of master distiller from 1966 to 1988. The Tennessee Whiskey was bottled after filtering with sugar maple at a mild 43.0 percent volume and in a natural colour.
Tasting Notes
Nose: The whiskey is sweet and spicy on the nose. It smells intensely of caramel and vanilla. Corn is present. Butterscotch permeates through. Fudge and oak round off the aroma of Tennessee whiskey.
Palate: The Jack Daniel's Master Distiller Series No.5 is spicy and sweet on the tongue. It tastes of caramel and honey. Vanilla comes through. Oak wood and pepper have a spicy presence.
Finish: The finish is medium long. The Tennessee Whiskey says goodbye with notes of oak and pepper.
