The Macallan Aurora marks the start of a voyage of discovery, signifying a new dawn that explores the essential role of sherry-seasoned oak casks in the making of The Macallan single malt whiskies. In a truly masterful marriage of four different cask types, hand-picked European and American sherry-seasoned casks and hogsheads are combined with American oak bourbon casks.

Colour: Sun ripened barley.

Aroma: Dried fruits opening into cinnamon and ginger, honeycomb sweetness, fresh citrus notes and polished oak.

Palate: Lightly spiced with hints of cardamom and sweet oak.

Finish: Sweet medium finish with dried fruits and citrus.
