A limited edition from Mars Shinshu distillery, Japan. The Komagatake is vatted from Bourbon barrels and several other kinds of casks from the distillery in Shinshu.

Tasting Notes 

Nose : The Japanese flatters the nose with sweet aromas of honey and malt sugar. Maple syrup and vanilla resonate. Behind it lie fruity peach aromas.

Palate : The Mars Shinshu Komagatake sits on the tongue with light notes of charred wood. It also brings sweet tones of toffee and honey. Orange jam and peaches penetrate fruity. Subtle tones of peanuts are present towards the back.

Finish : The finish of the Limited Edition is nutty and characterized by spicy pepper.
