Morris Whisky has unveiled its most premium offering yet – a limited-edition Smoked Muscat Whisky. The new release showcases three unique elements: Morris Australian single malt whisky, heavily-charred oak and award-winning fortified Muscat barrels.
Born from a collaboration between Morris’ Head Distiller and Head Cooper, the distiller said the resulting whisky pushed the boundaries of cask innovation, with its marriage of dry-biscuit maltiness, rich luscious raisin fruits, soft wood-aged characters and a lingering smokiness."

The limited edition Morris Australian Single Malt Smoked Muscat Whisky (48.3%ABV) has only been produced in limited numbers.
Tasting Notes
Nose : A combination of clean white smoke mingling with raisin fruits and blackberry jam initially. The smoke dissipates to release the rich and complex Morris Muscat characters.
Palate : Hints of charred pineapple with a light dusting of smoked paprika. Dark sugars appear without any cloying character, followed by the elegant acidity of crisp apple which evolves leaving a dry finish on the palate.
Finish : The flavours shift gear on the palate leaving you feeling like you’ve just experienced chilli infused dark chocolate, dipped in subtle smoked apple jam.

Morris Whisky is an Australian single malt produced in Rutherglen, Victoria, by Morris Distillery, a winery established in 1859. Using 100% Australian barley and an original 1930s hybrid still, the whisky is initially aged in ex-Australian red wine barrels before a distinctive finish in the family's own fortified wine casks, resulting in rich, fruity, and complex flavors like black cherry, cocoa, and marmalade
