Suntory Royal 1litre (1970s Bottle)

One of the most popular whiskeys in Japan comes in a very fancy bottle. With its amber color and the bottle, it is already a highlight from the outside.
Old bottle effect is large on some of these old Japanese varieties.

Blended whisky that was introduced in the 1960s and continued for 40 years.

Appearance: Glowing orange-amber, similar to the 12 year old, but just a tad lighter.

Nose: Cinnamon, caramel, ginger, cherry, vanilla, oak, malt biscuits.

Palate: Fruity, old bottle effect, old barrel, raisins, spice, quite surprisingly woody, corn, and a silky, oily body.

Finish: Peppery, light spice, corn sugar
