The English Smokey is aged to perfection in specially selected casks. This peated (45ppm) Single Malt is an ideal alternative for the Islay fan; a gentle aroma with hints of vanilla, aniseed & ginger, a creamy palate, a little peat initially and then the smoke bomb! Finish is long, spicy and smokey.
Situated in the beautiful countryside of Norfolk, The English Whisky Co. was founded by the Nelstrop family in 2006. The English ‘Smokey’ is part of its core range and – as the name suggests – is a peated single malt that will please any Islay fans. Expect a creamy palate, punctuated by spices and fruity notes, followed by hints of vanilla, ginger and aniseed.
