An innovative release for the 12th in the Master's Selection Series.  Firstly, this whisky uses a high proportion of malted barley (around 30%, significantly more than in most Bourbons) and secondly the barley has been cherry wood smoked. 

Tasting Notes

Has lots of spice, nuttiness and burnt sugar aromas upfront that lead to a rich dessert like palate, think toffee apple and cherry pie. Unsurprisingly this has a cracking finish combining smoked nuts, cherry fruit drops and toffee fudge.
